Beadweaver Artist / Designer

I am an enthusiastic and very passionate bead weaver, who truly loves making and designing fine beadwoven jewellery. I had discovered beading a few years ago after a serious illness and I fell head over heels in love with the design and artistic element of beading and have not looked back since.

I have been blessed with a never ending quest and I love the discovery of new techniques, and working with a multitude of colors, shapes and styles  that I then incorporate into my work (passion).

 I also have the vast sea of knowledge passed down from generations of the much loved and skilled craftwomen in my family.

I am interested in Dress-Making, Teddy Bears, Cross-Stitching, Knitting, Crochet and most other forms of Needle Work etc etc...

I find bead weaving to be the most pleasing and relaxing to do, a form of meditation that is tangible and very rewarding.  Bead weaving is now my #1 crafting pleasure and I love to include all the other skills I have learn't along the way.

I am inspired by many designers and bead weavers across the board that are just as passionate as I am about beading.

I am a married Mum of five children and have two grandchildren (at the moment!), I also have a love of animals big and small.

I have created a studio in my Auckland home, which is a mix of crafty stashes that at times causes my dear husband to sigh a lot but he also gives me a lot of support. Please enjoy looking at my work. 

I do really enjoy making all the pieces that I create and I hope you get as much pleasure as I have had making them as you will wearing them.
